Integrative Health Coaching
Integrative health coaching addresses your whole person—body, mind and spirit—while taking into account the multiple interconnected areas of your life that may influence well-being. It’s a collaborative, client-centered approach that effectively motivates and supports behavior change, empowering you to realize your vision of optimal health.

If you’re anything like me, you don’t get too excited to do something when someone else tells you to do it. In our coaching, I won’t tell you what you should focus on or what your goals should be. I will spend time exploring what is most important to you in your life, help to elicit your goals and allow you to choose your course of action.
I utilize the Duke Integrative Medicine Wheel of Health to encourage a comprehensive vision of health and to facilitate personal discovery. My clients find that the Wheel of Health and related self-assessment is a powerful tool for developing insight into their strengths and challenges while jumpstarting their process of change.
I listen deeply to your concerns and ask powerful questions to help motivate you to make changes.
I work with you to help you name your goals and the actions you’ll take to achieve them. Then we drill down into what will support you in completing your action steps, what might get in the way, and what strategies you’ll use to overcome any obstacles.
I support you in tracking your weekly progress and hold you accountable for your commitments.
I have a wealth of knowledge, information, and resources that can support you in making healthy behavior changes.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Coaching sessions usually take place via phone or video conferencing, but can also be conducted in person. The initial self-discovery session runs about 90 minutes, and subsequent coaching sessions run about 45 minutes. Typically sessions are spaced about two weeks apart, though the first two sessions are often scheduled closer together to jumpstart the process and get you on the path to achieving your goals. I also offer support between sessions via email/chat.
It takes a minimum of three months to develop a new habit that becomes self-sustaining, so I ask for a commitment of at least three to four months, or seven sessions, for you to experience the impact of our coaching work. A longer period of coaching, such as six months, may be better for clients with significant challenges.

If you decide to work with me, once you’ve scheduled your initial session, I’ll send you a packet of materials (including the self-assessment) for you to complete prior to our first session.
PRICING
Health coaching services currently are not covered by insurance, but you may be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for them. Call your HSA or FSA plan administrator for more information.
I don’t want anyone to be unable to access health coaching services due to cost, so if the HSA or FSA options are not available to you and the pricing below would be a financial hardship, please contact me to discuss a sliding scale fee arrangement.
New Client Coaching Package - $675
Duration: 3 - 4 months
Includes:
• 90 min. Initial Self-Discovery Session (This is an in-depth exploration of your vision for your optimal health and the personal values underlying your vision. This session helps you tap into your deepest motivation for making health-related changes and is foundational to a successful health coaching experience.)
• Six 45 min. coaching sessions
• Email and/or chat support between sessions
Six Session Coaching Package - $525
This package is an option for extending a coaching series.
• Six 45 min. coaching sessions
• Email and/or chat support between sessions
Nine Session Coaching Package - $725
This package is an option for extending a coaching series, and offers a lower per session fee than the six session coaching package.
• Nine 45 min. coaching sessions
• Email and/or chat support between sessions
Single Coaching Session - 45 minutes - $100
One or more single sessions can be added on at the end of a package to extend a coaching series.
